Editorial Inspiration: Mommy Moments

As I have been spending all of my time with my two little ones lately, I have constantly been inspired by glamorous moms around me. I have always adored this editorial done in Harper's Bazaar a few years ago, featuring crowned couture princess, Lena Perminova. I love following her instagram account, which features many photos of her darling children. Delightful Dresses: Nellystella

I have recently fallen in love with the boutique children's brand, Nellystella. Their clothing is the perfect fusion of upscale European tradition and whimsical charm. I am particularly fond of their occasion dresses from their "Love by Nellystella" Collection, which are perfect for flower girl dresses and beyond. Pepa & Co.

I recently made a delightful discovery with this darling Spanish children's brand, Pepa & Co. Filled with irresistible pieces that are oozing with true European design and distinction, the website also does a wonderful job merchandising by outfit. I could not help but want to pick up a few things for Beau and his baby sister on the way.

Well darlings, I now have yet another reason to love British Vogue as they have recently launched "Mini Vogue" on their website. The children's section is dedicated to the tiny chic set and is sponsored solely by luxury children's brand, Bonpoint. Chic Sheets: de Buci Baby

Just recently I was delighted to discover de Buci Baby, a brand with truly some of the most chic crib sheets and sleep sacks I have encountered. Perfect for those of us with a love of Parisian style, the first collection is a lovely mix of sweet and classic featuring gingham, toile, and stripes. The collection also has an influence of classic men's pajamas, which is evident in the details of the pieces. Your baby can now sleep in chic sheets.

Cashmere Care

After thinking about all the toxins involved in dry cleaning, I began washing baby Beau's cashmere by hand. Thus, I was absolutely delighted to discover The Laundress's exclusive Cashmere Wash created for J.CREW.  This incredible nontoxic, allergen free wash is perfectly gentle, keeping your cashmere looking perfectly luxurious. With it's beautiful lavender scent, I have decided to wash all my own cashmere sweaters in it as well. To preserve your cashmere and keep it looking lovely between washes, I also adore their Cashmere Spray. Only The Laundress can make laundry feel luxurious!

Amy Berry Nursery

Because we are moving this week and in the new place Beau's nursery will be substantially larger, I have been perusing Pinterest looking at nursery decor ideas again. I came across this gorgeous baby girl's nursery done by interior designer, Amy Berry (I adore her work!). If I ever have a girl, I'd love to replicate this. The mix of traditional, with sweet monograms, and modern, with the lucite crib is absolute perfection.

Just recently I discovered talented artist, Rachel Rogers, and could not get enough of her incredible custom crests! (You may remember one featured on my Gift Guide here) The beautiful watercolor pieces serve as the perfect personalized gift or addition to any nursery. Mother-to-Be Must Reads

I have come to realize that at times being an expecting mother can be quite overwhelming. There is SO much information out there that often times it is difficult to sift through it all. However, I am absolutely delighted that within the last year two of the most incredible online resources have launched for stylish and savvy moms.... Cricket's Circle and Mother Mag. Both sites have become my absolute go-to's particularly when questioning what to buy. Who knew determining which stroller to buy could take up an entire three hour dinner conversation? 
Both teaming with tips and tricks from undeniably inspiring and chic moms, like Vogue Editor, Lawren Howell shown above, I would recommend these websites to any first time moms. Happy Reading!

Smitten with La Stupenderia

This weekend I was introduced to the beautiful children's brand, La Stupenderia by a dear friend and  I must say I am absolutely smitten. I have no idea how I was not aware of this darling Italian brand before! With their impeccable quality, sweet delicate details, and timeless silhouettes,  I will most certainly be dressing my little one in some of these pieces.

A little Piece of BIG News

Well darlings, I have some wonderful news that I have been looking forward to  sharing with you for quite some time now. Some of you may have gotten a sneak peek if you follow me on Instagram after seeing this photo I posted this weekend ... I am pregnant! My husband and I absolutely could not be more thrilled about welcoming our first child into the world this August. My heart has never been filled with so much love. 
Now, I promise not to turn this into a baby or mommy blog, but you can expect some more children's fashion and inspiration sprinkled into the mix. I am beyond delighted to be able to share this journey with you all!
