Modern Mix

I am absolutely inspired by these interiors and the way they showcase pieces of minimalist art within rooms that have classic character, whether through a beautiful vintage chandelier, crown molding, or an antique Gustavian chair. The perfect fusion of modern and antique feels undeniably fresh.

For those of you in search of some new amazing minimalist modern art, a friend of mine, talented San Francisco based artist, Farell Beam, just recently re-launched her website, showcasing her incredible pieces. You can contact her here if you are interested in a commission.

Hill House Home

In my opinion there is really nothing better than getting into a freshly made bed with crisp, clean sheets. Thus, I am so delighted that Nell Diamond (you may remember her incredible wedding here!) has just launched her luxury lifestyle and linen brand, Hill House Home. It is classic, crisp, and modern. Not to mention, the monogram options are as chic as they come. Made in the same factory that used to produce famed French linen brand, D. Porthault, Hill House Home bedding is the perfect fusion of timeless quality with a modern sensibility. Rest assured darlings, this is a brand you will want to check out.

At Home with Caroline Sieber

Upon spotting it in the latest issue of Vogue, I immediately began drooling over Caroline Sieber's London home. It is no surprise that the Chanel ambassador (whose wedding you may remember from here) has such exquisite taste! The rich color palette and gorgeous collection of antiques make this home unique and irresistible.

West Village Townhouse of Alison Cayne

Mom of five and founder of the New York cooking school, Haven's Kitchen, Alison Cayne has impeccable taste that is clearly infused throughout her gorgeous West Village Townhouse. I was immediately smitten with every room upon discovering the home in a feature on One Kings Lane. The five story space is teeming with charm and original turn of the century details. When can I move in?!

Monogram Heaven: No. Four Eleven

Well darlings, you know how much I adore monograms. Thus, I was absolutely delighted to discover the Savannah-based monogram shop, Number Four Eleven. What truly sets them apart are the over 1,000 vintage monogram designs they have to choose from that are truly gorgeous. I would love to add some of their custom pillows or beautiful linens to my home. They are the perfect place to shop for one-of-a-kind gifts!

Gordon & Galbraith

I am absolutely beyond proud of a dear friend of mine (who happens to be an extremely talented artist) for launching her latest brand, Gordon & Galbraith. The company's mission is to provide original artwork for the modern collector at an accessible price point. How fabulous is that? I am swooning over the pieces in her first collection, "The Ribbon Collection", which was influenced by the minimalist art movement. They make the perfect addition to any wall or bookshelf whether your style is decidedly traditional or modern.

Ever since coming across this space designed by Amie Corley, I have been day dreaming about having a home office like this someday. The storage and organization is perfectly practical but the mood is utterly glam. Just looking at it makes me want to be productive!

Beautiful Backyards in Bazaar

I loved Harper's Bazaar's latest compilation of luxurious landscapes paired with gorgeous gowns. What fabulous inspiration as we head into the heart of the warm Summer months and spend more time outdoors. These women all looks simply stunning surrounded by the comfort of their own (incredible) homes!

Herve Pierre at Home

After using a photo of Herve Pierre's bedroom as inspiration this week for my post on gingham, I became fascinated with the rest of his NYC home and just felt I needed to share it with you all. It is no surprise that the Creative Director for Carolina Herrera has impeccable taste and his French roots certainly come through in every inch of his apartment. The drapery and details are just beyond gorgeous.

dCc Outfit to Interior: Gaga for Gingham

Let's just say, I am absolutely gaga for gingham. The classic pattern was all over the Spring 2015 runways and everyone is doing it this season from Diane von Furstenburg to Oscar de la Renta. Not only do I want to incorporate this trend into my wardrobe, but I'd love to infuse it into my home as well. When Beau gets older, I'd love to redecorate his room and add these darling Serena & Lily gingham sheets. Go get your gingham.

Smitten with Scalloped Shams

I have been on the hunt for the perfect linens for our guest bedroom and have recently become absolutely smitten with crisp scalloped shams. These from Julia B. are absolutely beyond perfection. But, if you are looking for some scalloped shams that are slightly more affordable these and these are fabulous as well!

Amy Berry Nursery

Because we are moving this week and in the new place Beau's nursery will be substantially larger, I have been perusing Pinterest looking at nursery decor ideas again. I came across this gorgeous baby girl's nursery done by interior designer, Amy Berry (I adore her work!). If I ever have a girl, I'd love to replicate this. The mix of traditional, with sweet monograms, and modern, with the lucite crib is absolute perfection.

Perfectly Peachy

You may remember when I blogged about Gabriela Perezutti Hearst's incredible wedding gown last year. Well, there is yet another thing in her life I am absolutely smitten with ... her home. It was recently featured here on Tales of Endearment and I must admit that my favorite room in her West Village brownstone the bedroom of her darling twin daughters. How perfect are those twin beds and that light fixture?
