AERIN'S ENTERTAINING BEAUTIFULLY

Aerin Lauder has long been one of my ultimate style icons. Thus, I was truly excited when her new book, Entertaining Beautifully, arrived on my doorstep just last week {I had been anticipating it for quite some time as I pre-ordered it months ago}. I quickly made myself a cup of tea and sat down to devour every page. The book is a gorgeous glimpse into her marvelous world of entertaining and teaming with tips, tricks, and endless inspiration. It is most certainly a must-read.

Poppy for Mrs. Alice

I am constantly swooning over Mrs. Alice's latest tablescapes. She serves as my utmost inspiration when it comes to entertaining and I absolutely adore her latest collaboration with style icon, Poppy Delevingne. The collection celebrates their lifelong friendship and is inspired by classic chinoiserie. My favorite pieces are these whimsical prosecco coups, these blush placements & napkins, and these charming palm candle  holders.  Bon Appetit, darlings!

Elevate the Everyday

 

Eating at home every night for the past four months has truly made me appreciate the beauty of elevating the everyday and making family meals together feel special. Even if we were just eating delivery pizza at home, I decided that it would be fun to upgrade our tableware and invest in some beautiful pieces that would make for lovely tablescapes. But, I wanted to be sure to balance the pretty with the practical given that I have three young children at home. With those parameters, here are my favorite finds for Summer entertaining, as we all spend more time at home than ever before.

Fiona Leahy Design

Lately, I have been seriously swooning over event designer, Fiona Leahy's fabulous fetes. London-based Leahy has truly become the fashion world's go-to party planner extraordinaire and there is absolutely no questioning why. Each detail of her tablescapes are utterly impeccable from her custom Christmas crackers to her signature velvet bow as a place card {complete with monogram}. After absolutely drooling over some of her latest events for Love Shack Fancy, Aerin,  and Moda Operandi ... I just had to share a little glimpse of her magical world with you.

The Lovliest Lunch

Just last week Moda Operandi and Delpozo hosted the loveliest of lunches in London to celebrate Delpozo's latest collection (which is currently all available for pre-order on Moda). I was instantly enchanted with the entire table scape, but what I couldn't take my eyes off of was the uber-chic blush velvet ribbons complete with each guests initials ... does it get any better? 

I have a similar blush ribbon from J.CREW for my hair (but of course now I want to add my initials to it). Sadly, that is sold out but I just found these beautiful ones for quite a steal!

Summer Entertaining

With Memorial Day just around the corner (how did it sneak up on us so fast!?), I cannot help but begin to day dream about Summer soirees. These gorgeous images from Aerin Lauder's Hamptons home in Beach magazine have me swooning. From the blue and white tablecloth to crisp white linens and gorgeous hydrangeas, I just cannot get enough. Fete Chic

I came across this gorgeous invitation suite designed by MaeMae & Co and much to my delight  it is called the "Beau" (my son's name). How could I not love it? I was instantly drawn to the incredible color combination of Tomato Red and Blush. It instantly reminded me of the this exquisite gown by Giambattista Valli. How perfect would it be to attend a fabulous fete with this menus while wearing this gown?

Lately, Inspired By

I absolutely love using Pinterest as a source of inspiration and place to curate images of things I adore. I was looking at my latest pins the other day and realized that they aesthetically they fit together very nicely. As you can see lately I have been inspired by beautiful soft blue (swooning over this dress that is SUCH a steal!) as well as chic white bikinis (this one is perfection), pearls (these would be the perfect addition to any wardrobe), and strappy black heels (these are gorgeous).  What has been inspiring you lately?

Upon discovering these absolutely gorgeous napkins on Pinterest, I was immediately day dreaming about hosting a Summer dinner party outdoors wearing fresh blue and white. While the gorgeous Isabel Marant dress shown above is sadly no longer available, I'd certainly still love to slip into this while sipping rose.

Monogrammed China

Oh, how I absolutely adore monogrammed china! I simply cannot get enough of our monogrammed Pickard China pattern that we received for our wedding to mix with a more ornate pattern that was passed down to me from my grandmother (similar to what you see above!). Although, I am embarrassed to say that we have been married for 9 months already and I have yet to use it! It is my goal to use it at least once before our First Anniversary. How often do you use your china?
