Dreamy Dresses

Just this week famed couture house, Giambattista Valli is introducing it's first ever Bridal Collection, the "Love" Collection. And the dresses are simply beyond dreamy. This feels like a natural progression for the brand known for it's overt feminine styling and intricate details. The gown shown above is truly my favorite in the collection, which you can see the remainder of here. Time to say "I Do' darlings.

Heidi Rose

Today I was thrilled to discover the most delightful new children's brand, Heidi Rose. Started by a husband and wife team (who have three darling children of their own) in London, the company has created pieces from pajamas to playwear that are perfectly whimsical yet sophisticated. I simply adore their irresistible Liberty print wands and crowns and truly cannot wait for my own little ones to snuggle up in their sleepwear. Everything they have created perfectly captures the magic of childhood and the beauty of everyday adventures.

I have always appreciated the fine art of the hand written note and truly have a soft spot in my heart for swoon worthy stationery. Thus,  I was delighted to get to collaborate with Dear Elouise to create my own set of notecards. Their paper products are absolutely divine and I knew I would love the end result before I even began the process. From the engraved monogram to the painted edge, I cannot get enough of my stationery. You too can get your own set of "Caitlin" Notecards here

Obsessed with Ephemera

With Summer just around the corner, I have certainly been on a swimsuit shopping kick lately.  I cannot get enough of Australian based brand, Ephemera's latest collection featuring playful gingham and the chicest silhouettes. What makes the suits even better is that they are sustainable and made from recycled fabrics. If I had to choose just one piece in the collection it would be this hero yellow bikini with the high waisted bottoms. Seriously beach chic.

dCc Style Icon: Jane Birkin

I have long adored the effortless chic style of icon, Jane Birkin. Of course, she is most well know for having the Hermes "Birkin" named after her but, I have also always loved the way she carried around her signature baskets. Thus, I was beyond delighted when Pamela Munson released her latest Collection and it included "The Jane" a perfect rattan basket with irresistible Liberty print liner. I will most certainly be carrying it all Spring and Summer long.

PJS for Your Little Bunnies

Festive pajamas are one of my favorite ways to celebrate holidays with my little ones {I figure I will enjoy it while they are still young enough}. It is sweet and simple, but truly brings so much joy and excitement. For Easter the past few years I have put my children in the classic gingham Petite Plume PJs as there is truly nothing more darling than their matching bunny eye masks. This year I ordered the yellow gingham sets for the boys {which also comes in a short version}, the matching nightgown for Grace and complete the look with the yellow bunny eye masks. But, I also cannot get enough of the pink and blue sets, which they have worn in year's past.

If you are looking for some other Easter pajamas more suitable for babies, these are darling {here is the boy version}. Or if you are looking for something a little more affordable these are my absolute favorite amazon find. Hop to it!

LOVE All.

Just this week I have started playing more tennis again and it has truly brought me so much joy. Getting back out on the court has got me on the hunt for some new tennis attire. I have this skirt in another color and absolutely love it as a tennis skirt (especially in this new color!). I just scored this adorable skirt on major sale and also have my eye on this one from Tory Sport. For all skirts that don't have built in shorts, I wear these underneath. LOVE all.

Forever My Favorite

I truly adore everything London-based designer, Emilia Wicksead designs. But, I don't think I have ever loved anything as much the wedding gown she designed for herself. I will never forget when I saw images of her wedding day 10 years ago, when I was in the midst of planning my own wedding. Years later, I would love to wear her gown if I could get married all over again. Inspired by Audrey Hepburn in the movie, Sabrina, the dress is utterly timeless and absolutely irresistible. I could not help but share it yet again!

Classic Boys Outfiting Ideas

I have truly always had such fun dressing my boys and some of the most frequent questions I get are around classic boys clothing pieces. Thus, I thought I would put together a list that includes the key staples I keep stocked in my boys' wardrobes. While some of these pieces may be slightly more of an investment, they are truly worth it as your boys will wear them over and over again. They will look pulled together without you having to try! Here are a few of my favorite pieces to keep your boys (2 and over) cute, classic and comfortable....

POLO SHIRTS - Lacoste are at the top of my list, particularly in Navy

STRIPED LONG SLEEVE TOPS - I live for these from Saint James

SWEATPANTS - These from H&M and these from Zara have the best fit

SHORTS - I love a shorter short with an elastic waistband and the best are Cadets and Beaufort Bonnet

CASHMERE SWEATER - You can never have too many Ralph Lauren Cable Knit Sweaters - don't fret about getting them dirty, seriously!

OUTERWEAR - The perfect finishing touch - my favorites are this Barn Jacket & this Patagonia Vest

THE BLUE BLAZER - Nothing more fitting for any special occasion and truly no one does it better than Ralph Lauren

PAJAMAS - These are both classic & comfortable

SHOES - Can't go wrong with New Balance Sneakers, Cienta Slip Ons, or Supergas

Perfect Princess Di

I have most certainly been on a Princess Diana kick after watching the latest season of The Crown. I recently started reading this book about her life (which I cannot put down) and I was reminded of this editorial featured in Paris Vogue in April 2018 inspired by the Princess. It you have not seen it in it's entirety, it's truly a treat.

Kilte Collection

I am always so inspired to watch empowered women and mothers follow their dreams and start incredible new companies. Thus, I am delighted to introduce you to Kilte, a gorgeous knitwear brand that I am seriously smitten with. Each beautiful piece was designed with the modern woman in mind who embodies more than one thing - whether that's a mother, a partner, a friend, or colleague. The sustainable, luxury knitwear is just as beautiful, smart, and multi-dimensional as the women who wear it. Personally, my favorite piece is the Ruthie Cardigan {shown above}, which was actually named after a dear friend and former colleague of mine ... making the sweater that much more special to me. This cashmere Hannah Duster is also dreamy and I cannot get enough of the new strawberry colorway they just released. Sweaters just got sweeter and smarter.

Gifting for a Good Cause

I am absolutely delighted to have partnered with Modatrova this holiday season to put together a curated gift guide of my favorite pieces from their website to benefit Lucile Packard Children's Hospital. The cause is truly near and dear to my heart as the hospital has provided incredible care to my daughter throughout her life. It is one of the leading children's hospitals in the world, yet what makes it even more special is that it is a non-profit hospital meaning that {thanks to generous donors} no child is ever turned away from treatment or care they need due to financial circumstances. Use the code "CAITLIN" at checkout on Modatrova and 10% of your order will go directly to the Lucile Packard Foundation. It is lovely to be able to buy gifts during the holidays while also making a difference to children and families who are truly going through so much.
