This week I had the pleasure of meeting the darling {& talented!} Ashley of Ashley D. Studio and she is just as delightful as her work! The design studio does an incredible job marrying spirited watercolor with strong typography for a result that is perfectly whimsical yet undeniably traditional. Her range of work includes everything from custom invitations to textiles and commercial branding. I am wishing I could get married all over again just so she could design my invitations! She recently started selling her gorgeous stationery sets online and they make the most perfect gift {or treat for yourself!} ... I am seriously smitten with mine. Truly a joy to discover such delightful and beautiful work.

Il Porticciolo

I am always delighted to discover beautiful new childrenswear and I am usually drawn to so many of the impeccable European brands. Thus, I was so happy to recently be introduced to Il Porticciolo, which is London based and curates traditional Italian children's brands {in addition to it's gorgeous own namesake knitwear collection}. You may have seen on instagram, but I am seriously swooning over their classic cashmere pieces as well as these knits with absolutely exquisite collars. The next time I am in London I cannot wait to visit their charming shop, but for those of us across the pond you are just in a luck as they are currently holding their winter sale online... Chloe Richard's wedding to Lee Rubenstein was simply that ... a midsummer night's dream.  The Creative Director of M2M (Made to Measure) created an absolutely magical evening at her family's Southampton home. Every detail from the De Gournay invitations to her custom Giambiattista Valli gown was absolutely impeccable. Love Letters

 

All I truly ever want for Valentine's Day is a handwritten note or card {my husband knows this well by now!} and if you are looking for a card that is truly special look no further than Bernard Maisner Calligraphy. He creates the most stunning cards like this one that is more traditional or this "secrets' card that features tiny note cards with his beautiful calligraphy and one left blank for you to include your own sentiments to your valentine. What a truly lovely love letter.
