dCc Style Crush: Jessica de Ruiter

LA-based stylist to the stars, Jessica de Ruiter, has a personal style that is effortless yet utterly impactful. I am absolutely drawn to her minimalist aesthetic that is clean, classic, simple, and truly intentional. She has inspired me this week to stick with the tried and true classics in my wardrobe like an easy button down, bateau stripe knits, and the perfect pair of cropped slim denim

True Blue

If there is one pastel that transitions perfectly between Winter and Spring, it's Ice Blue. The lovely hue was featured on quite a few runways, such as Marchesa and Oscar de la Renta,  at New York Fashion Week and reminded me how truly gorgeous it is no matter the time of year. I love the idea of pairing the color with heather greys and deep navys during the icier Winter months and with crisp white during Spring and Summer. Some of the gorgeous Ice Blue pieces I am currently coveting are this fabulous sweater, this darling skirt, and this incredible bag

Negative Underwear

Perfectly minimal, yet undeniably chic. That is what makes Negative underwear so utterly irresistible. The brand is designed with the modern woman in mind and was created to fill a void in the marketplace making no-frills skivvies chic (and also comfortable!). I truly adore their pieces, particularly the Balconette Bra.  While we often focus soley on our appearance from the outside it's time for a little investment in what we are wearing underneath it all.

Jason Wu Fall 2016

After taking a hiatus from feathers for quite a few seasons, I was absolutely delighted to see Jason Wu bring back in some perfect plumes for his Fall 2016 Collection. What makes these feathers even more fabulous is he uniquely found a way to make them feel appropriate for both night and day. The entire collection was beautiful and simply suitable for the chic modern woman's wardrobe. I simply can't say no to frothy feathers and beautiful backless styles.... can you?

Perfectly Plated

I can most certainly say that I wish I had know about Sasha Nicholas monogrammed dinnerware prior to registering for my wedding almost five years ago. Her selection of monograms is better than anything I have seen, truly elegant and timeless. You better believe that now that I have discovered this beautiful brand that her custom monogrammed hostess tray will become my wedding gift of choice. And to make it an even more meaningful and thoughtful gift, you can add a personalized inscription on the back. Now, that is what I call perfectly plated.

Delphine Manivet

Parisian-based atelier, Delphine Manivet has long been known to design the chicest of bridal gowns. Thus, it is no surprise that her debut ready-to-wear collection is anything but swoon-worthy. I am absolutely drooling over the shapes and silhouettes of these lady-like pieces. For those of you who are just as smitten as I am, you will be pleasantly surprised that this Collection is available for pre-order on Moda Operandi this week.

dCc Deal Alert: Shoe Steals

I have always been a major fan of Manolo Blahnik's sleek and classic designs. Thus, I was delighted to score a pair of these beauties (in navy!) on MAJOR sale just a few weeks ago at Saks. In looking around, there are quite a few fabulous pairs of Manolo's out there right now (like the chic Chaos sandals) that are major steals. Here are a few of the best deals on some heels that will never go out of style  ...

Hill House Home

In my opinion there is really nothing better than getting into a freshly made bed with crisp, clean sheets. Thus, I am so delighted that Nell Diamond (you may remember her incredible wedding here!) has just launched her luxury lifestyle and linen brand, Hill House Home. It is classic, crisp, and modern. Not to mention, the monogram options are as chic as they come. Made in the same factory that used to produce famed French linen brand, D. Porthault, Hill House Home bedding is the perfect fusion of timeless quality with a modern sensibility. Rest assured darlings, this is a brand you will want to check out.

The style on the streets of Couture Fashion Week is always so chic that only it can keep up with the Collections on the runways. Here are a few of my favorite style snaps.

Backstage @ the Spring 16 Couture Shows

It is no surprise that every season I look forward to the Couture shows in Paris. But, I must admit that the Spring Collections are always my favorite. It must be something about the soft color palettes, frothy silhouettes, and delicate details that get me every time. Here is a glimpse into some of my favorite images thus far from this week, particularly highlighting the Chanel and Giambattista Valli shows.

Made in the Shades

If there is one thing New York based fashion blogger, Emilee Anne has inspired me to do ... it's to up my sunglasses game. She is always sporting a fun and fabulous pair and I'd love to do the same, getting away from my classic go-tos. You truly can't go wrong with these Celine's. Or I am thinking that this pair from Illesteva is beyond chic. And what about these Thierry Lasry transparent frames? I'll take all three please!
