Herve Pierre at Home

After using a photo of Herve Pierre's bedroom as inspiration this week for my post on gingham, I became fascinated with the rest of his NYC home and just felt I needed to share it with you all. It is no surprise that the Creative Director for Carolina Herrera has impeccable taste and his French roots certainly come through in every inch of his apartment. The drapery and details are just beyond gorgeous.

Gorgeous Gown

This custom designed wedding gown worn by a bride in Australia is truly one of the most gorgeous I have come across in a while. From the shape of the back, to the intricate beading and detail on the fabric, and the contrast ribbon ... it is simply stunning. Unfortunately, I have no idea where the bride had this made but thought it was beautiful inspiration to share.

dCc Outfit to Interior: Gaga for Gingham

Let's just say, I am absolutely gaga for gingham. The classic pattern was all over the Spring 2015 runways and everyone is doing it this season from Diane von Furstenburg to Oscar de la Renta. Not only do I want to incorporate this trend into my wardrobe, but I'd love to infuse it into my home as well. When Beau gets older, I'd love to redecorate his room and add these darling Serena & Lily gingham sheets. Go get your gingham.

Head over Heels

As Spring approaches, I get extremely excited to sport some fresh footwear. This season (just like the last three) I have been very into ankle strap heels. While these incredible details are from Delpozo's Spring/Summer 2013 line, I want them in my wardrobe right this minute! The fashion set showed up with no shortage of chic on the streets of Paris to round out 'Fashion Month'. These were a few of my favorite street style looks and it's no surprise they are all neutral. One I'd particularly love to re-create right this instant is destructed white denim paired with a classic blazer.

Cafe Coco

At the Fall 2015 Chanel runway show they served croissants, coffee, and a side of Coco. Karl Lagerfeld literally exhibited the influence of the cafe society into his Collection as the backdrop of the line was "Brassiere Gabrielle" or as I like to call it, Cafe Coco. Divine Details

The over-the-top embellishments at the Prada Fall 2015 runway show had me going gala from the moment I caught a glimpse of them. Coupled with scuba fabrication, chic silhouettes ... and did the mention the ostrich gloves?! It was mouth watering.

Killer Color Combo

If anyone knows how to unexpectedly delight it's customers with bold styling decisions it's J.CREW. I must say that at their Fall 2015 Presentation last week, I was most intrigued by their genius idea to combine blush with bright yellow to make a killer combination. Thanks yet again, J.CREW. I will certainly be trying this with my own wardrobe this Spring.

Oscar de la Renta Fall 2015: Black Beauties

The Fall 2015 Collection was Peter Coppings debut as creative director for Oscar de la Renta since the late great designer's passing this October. Everyone was on the edge of their runway seat waiting to see what he would produce and the show was nothing short of exquisite. Coppings was careful to honor de la Renta with traditional "Oscar" elements while also infusing his own vision for the brand. I am not sure if it was because I am still mouring the loss of the designer, but I was absolutely captivated by so many of the pieces in this collection in black. From the delicate lace to the luxurious velvet trims, I just could not get enough of these looks.

I could not think of a more fun collaboration - bespoke Stubbs & Wootton monogrammed slippers with Happy Menocal designs. Available exclusively for pre-order on of my favorite e-tailers, Moda Operandi through March 2nd. For those of you unfamiliar with the New York based artist, Happy Menocal you must check out her gorgeous work, I adore her stationery and custom crests.
