Well darlings, I am off for the long weekend to Newport Beach, for my dear sister's Bachelorette party! It is supposed to be 75 degrees and sunny so we will certainly be breaking out our bikinis and lounging by the pool. I cannot wait!

Jason Wu F13: Perfectly Pleated

Upon viewing Jason Wu’s Fall 2013 Collection, I instantly fell in love with his stunning micro-pleated skirts! (one of my personal wardrobe staples) I adored how he balanced out this ultra-feminine piece with a little edge, like his phenomenal strong shouldered jackets. It was the perfect iteration of feminine edge.

Just a Little Obsessed: This Oscar de la Renta Dress

Upon stumbling upon this beautiful bride on Style Me Pretty, my heart melted as I saw her exquisite Oscar de la Renta dress. I remember trying this gown on while I was wedding dress shopping and absolutely falling in love with it. While I did not choose it in the end, I always claimed it would be the dress I would wear if I was getting married in the Dominican Republic... silly, I know!

Deep Dive: Tory Burch Swim

 

Ever since coming back from Hawaii, I have been day dreaming about putting a bikini on again. I am disappointed that I did not discover Tory Burch's fabulous new collection of swimwear prior to leaving for my trip. The fresh prints and sleek silhouettes make this collection a must have! I must say I absolutely adore the Tamarin (Seahorse) print in both the bikini and tunic. I think I may certainly need to purchase these for my sister's upcoming Bachelorette party in Newport Beach.

I must say that an absolute staple in my wardrobe are my classic Saint James Mariniere tops. The outfitting possibilities with those timeless shirts are truly endless.  I adore how this woman dressed hers up with a fabulous skirt and accessories!
