For those of who you do not frequently visit the Upper East Side, you may be unfamiliar with the chic boutique that everyone is talking about, Fivestory. Nestled amongst the other high-end retailers on Madison Avenue, Fivestory is fittingly housed in a gorgeous five-story townhouse. Upon stepping into the space you immediately feel as if you have entered someone's well decorated home, which is quite fitting as fabulous (and only 26!) owner, Claire Distenfeld has merchandised it like her own curated closet. Carrying luxury labels such as Carven and Balmain the assortment is edited to perfection. Let's just say we are completely smitten.

Color Me Coco

 

Ever since I was 13 years old and my great-grandmother gave me some of her Chanel No. 5 perfume, I have been utterly obsessed with Chanel cosmetics. I truly cannot go anywhere without my Chanel gloss and their radiance cream certainly keeps my skin glowing! But, I must say it is not only the products I adore, but also the chic packaging. How fabulous does it look to have a cluster of Chanel glosses on your vanity.. perhaps in a mint julep cup or old diptyque candle?

Absolutely Adore Aerin

There is no denying it .... I absolutely adore Aerin Lauder's Hamptons home. This gorgeous abode has been in the family for years as it once belonged to Aerin's grandmother, Estee Lauder. Every room has been decorated utterly perfectly.... when can I move in?!

I have been thinking about Aerin Lauder a lot lately with the launch of her new beauty line AERIN and her fabulous new website, World of Aerin. I could truly spend hours on her well curated site, which gives you a glimpse into her travels, home, family, and latest beauty advice. Oh Aerin, I do adore you!

Wedding Wednesday: Jacquetta Wheeler

 I am sure many of you darlings have seen this magnificent wedding in the latest issue of Vogue. But, it was just too exquisite not to share! British beauty, Jacquetta Wheeler's nuptials to banker, James Allsopp, was truly fit for royalty, which is only natural as it took place at her family's home in Kent England, Chilham Castle. The castle, with its rolling lawns and ancient topiaries was the perfect setting for this fabulous fete. The only thing more beautiful was the bride herself, adorned in a custom Alice Temperley gown.

I am always in awe of the weddings featured in Vogue. Thus, I am counting down the days for their highly-anticipated book to hit the stands, Vogue: Weddings, Brides, Dresses, Designers. ... October 30th cannot come soon enough!

Happy Olympics Weekend!

Happy Friday Darlings! I am beyond excited for the Olympics to officially begin tonight! I am loving this darling patriotic way of incorporating good old red, white, & blue into your wardrobe. I may just have to try something similar this weekend!
