Well darlings, I have a wedding for you that I just loved too much to wait to share it until Wednesday! London - based fashion designer, Emilia Wickstead, wed her prince charming in Italy this past summer and she truly was one of the most gorgeous brides I have ever seen! Her dress, inspired by the Givenchy gown worn by Audrey Hepburn in one of my favorite movies, Sabrina, is beyond perfection! And that stunning pearl-accented chiffon jacket she wore for the ceremony? ....it truly makes my heart melt.

Well darlings, 2011 has certainly been the best year of my life thus far!! Getting to marry the man of my dreams has been better than I ever could have imagined. I have so much to be thankful for and I am truly looking forward to all we have ahead in 2012.

Well darlings, I am terribly sorry that I have been so MIA this week! My lack of blogging was due to my busy work travel. However, yesterday while at Barney's in NYC I was able to see the launch of the Christopher Kane & J Brand collaboration. I am absolutely LOVING the neon denim! ... but I am wishing these denim delights came out in the Summer rather than November.

Darlings, today I am delighted to introduce you to the fabulous handbag brand Hudson & Morton, which is designed by a talented childhood friend of mine. These bags are the utterly perfect combination of downtown cool & uptown sophistication. I have asked Sydney a few questions about the inspiration behind her chic Fall 2012 collection ....

Where do you find most of your inspiration?
I find that most of my inspiration comes from my travels. The exposure to different cultures, art and architecture has always been the primary driving force behind my designs. For this Fall collection, I was inspired by the clean lines and crisp tailoring in menswear as well as the architecture in Nicolas Alan Cope photographs.

How did you get your start as a designer?
I got my start as a designer almost immediately after I graduated Parsons School of Design in May. Internships at Donna Karan and Rag & Bone as well as my Parsons fashion design education helped me learn all of the facets of the design process- from conceptualization to production to sales. I've always dreamed of having my own line and after weeks of sketching and sample making, I decided to go into production and bring this company to life.

What is the "must have" bag in your Fall 2012 Collection?
Blush is THE color for Fall, which is why I designed each bag in Blush. The Village Clutch is made out of a gorgeous pebbled lamb leather and I find the texture so compelling- the color and the texture combined certainly pop with any Fall outfit.

After a week of fabulous weather here in San Francisco ... today it is supposed to begin raining. While I am sad that the sun has gone away there is nothing I love more than getting to wear a classic trench coat. Dining Room to Die For

My husband and I recently purchased a new dining room table similar to this one and now my new project is completing the room and finding the perfect chairs! I am utterly obsessed with this dining room shown above (from one of my favorite houses in Palm Beach, which I blogged about here last year). I love the way the two chairs on the end are a pattern while the rest of the chairs are solid ... genius.

During Fashion Week I am always so inspired not only by the runway shows but the fashion editors on the streets! One of my top style crushes has always been Joanna Hillman, Fashion Market Editor at Harper's Bazaar. She has phenomenal style - but one of the things I love most about her (beyond her amazing clothing of course!) is her signiture sunglasses and bold lipstick... it's one word ...FABULOUS.

Wedding Wednesday: Here Comes the Bride

Well darlings, here it is... the first glimpse of my wedding day. I know that I gave you all a little teaser last week here. But, this is my first official post of the series I will be doing to capture my wedding day over the next few weeks.

Today I wanted to give you all a little better looking at getting ready - which was truly a special part of the day. It was amazing to be surrounded by my mom, sisters, and friends (all in matching monogrammed robes of course!) preparing for the happiest day of my life. As you can see by the last photo, by the time I walked out of that room I was more than excited to marry the love of my life!
